Pamela Marshall writes music for professional performers, for community groups, and for computer-based instruments. Her contemporary classical style has a touch of Bartok and jazz. It’s lyrical and expressive, sometimes tonal, with a love for both beautiful and quirky sounds.
She is in the process of recording her set of poetry-inspired solos for various instruments, which will be appearing here one by one. Elusive Sleep for cello and piano was just released on a Living Artist CD and Windshine for chorus and cello is on ERMMedia. She also records nature soundscapes. She has tracks from Costa Rica and Florida and is working on New England springtime soundscape.
She plays French horn and piano and leads improvisation workshops for kids and adults. |
