About Bourian Boubbov: Born in Bulgaria, Bourian grew up in Varna, Berlin and Sofia in the family of artists. Musical education: Sofia, Munich, Frankfurt.
Instruments: French Horn, Piano, Bass guitar, Fluegelhorn, Alphorn.
Bourian started playing in bands while he was studying at the Sofia State Music School. While the beginings were experiments in New Romantics and Comercial Funk, the next step was joyning a Jazz-Rock/Fusion band were he played bass guitar. First electronic compositions emerged around 1992.
Fast forward Germany 2006:
Playing as a professional French Horn player, Bourian started TimeTrigger, his first Electronics-Jazz Rock project.
His music is an energetic fusion of traditional Bulgarian music with Ambient, Trip Hop, Dub elements, and 70s influenced Jazz-Rock.
In 2008 he relocated to Sydney, Australia. Currently he is working on his TimeTrigger debut album "Traveller´s Tales". |
