Five A.M.

About Five A.M.: Voted "Best Rock Band" three years in a row in Northern California, Five A.M. has amassed a following so devoted, that both of their albums have been recorded with fan investment. Playing a refined original rock all their own, the group recently completed their second album, “This Morphine Life.” This time the album was realized by the owner of a major Bay Area studio, who was so inspired after seeing the band perform live that he recorded the entire album for free. Recorded in just three days, the album is a document to Five A.M.’s strength as a live band.

The album “Degrees of Falling” launched the group to the forefront of Northern California bands, receiving regular airplay on radio stations all over the Bay Area. The record became a hot topic in the industry due to the fact it was paid for by over 21,000 of fan investment. Their single “Paper Bag” stayed in the Top 10 on Mix 104.1 FM for three months, alongside Dave Matthews and U2. They also found success on the internet as they shot into Cornerband.com's charts (in both Rock and Pop categories) and stayed in the Top 10 for over a year. The album has sold over 4,000 copies to date, and was the first ever independent release to be named “CD Pick of the Week” by KRSH 95.9 FM, The Crush.

Five A.M.’s stirring live shows have brought them into the league of national acts, where they've shared the stage with Train, Dishwalla, Anna Nalick, Ari Hest, Cracker, Guster, Bob Schneider, and Doobie Brother Michael McDonald. The band has toured the Western States extensively and has received rave reviews and invitations to return everywhere they have played. Consistently called the “hardest working band in Northern California” by rock critics the band strives to win over fans by playing shows that show a whole range of emotion and talent. The band will crash into the heart of their music with big brash emotion filled rock songs only to pull back moments later and bring the crowd in with a scaled down acoustic set or to everyone’s delight a didgeridoo-drum jam. The band loves to take risks with their music and with their shows. The band is known for playing marathon 4 hour sets simply because the crowd wanted more and the band didn’t have the heart to say no. Five A.M. is currently on the road touring in support of their album “this morphine life” and perusing various international and Film/TV projects.
