About James Counter: Jim Counter


Counter, originally from Aurora, WI, has opened live shows for many artists including Martina McBride, Toby Keith, Blackhawk, John Hartford, Sawyer Brown, the Marshall Tucker Band, Lacy J. Dalton, Vern Gosdin, Dan Seals, Skip Ewing and Mark O’Connor

Recorded three Independent projects in Nashville and several individual recordings

Album Highlights:
Recorded two songs co-written by Garth Brooks

Guest vocalist Gary Morris on “Where Love Is King”

Worked with musicians Glenn Worf, Lonnie Wilson, and Bruce Bouton

Jim Counter and the Riley Road Band was voted “Wisconsin State Champions in Country Music”

Performed on the first annual ‘Freedom Sings’ concert, sharing the stage with artists Bill Lloyd, Radney Foster, Kim Richey, Steve Earle and John Kay of Steppenwolf

Sang the National Anthem to sellout crowds in Pro Football [Green Bay Packers/Chicago Bears], Pro Baseball [Chicago Cubs/Atlanta Braves], Collegiate Hockey [Northern Michigan University/Alaska] and the annual Brett Favre Celebrity Softball Game

As a Singer and Composer, Counter has been successfully involved in Jingles for both Radio and Television

Highlights:

Sang and composed theme song for an ESPN Outdoors show hosted by former Green Bay Packer Brian Noble

Sang and composed theme song for The Green Bay Packers football team
