About Marta Milan: At the very young age of 5, Marta knew she wanted to be a singer. With the support of her family she began attending the Anna German School of Performing Arts in her hometown of Bialystok, Poland. There, she would develop her singing talents along with dance and acting. Soon after she would be performing in various talent shows and festivals. Still in her teens, she would compete in various regional vocal and songwriting contests (The Popstars), including the Annual Singing Contest where she won first place. At 16 Marta arrives in the states, and would continue singing while attending New York public schools. After graduation at the age of 18, she competed in the contest “ Everybody Can Sing” where she would win first prize. The notoriety would bring the attention of Pawel Maciwoda (now playing with The Scorpions) to ask Marta to record a couple of songs with him. Not long after, she was approached to participate in a CD tribute for 9-11. Marta sang the song “Don’t Run Away” which she also wrote. While attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute on the side she would work with various New York and Miami producers such as Bob Rosa, Freddy Florian, Oszy Carmona, Mike Rizzo and sing in a cover band. In 2009 Marta took part in the New Wave Singing Competition in Helsinki where she got into the semi-finals.
