Cliff Randall

About Cliff Randall: Cliff Randall is 1/2 of the production team Red Rhythm. Cliff is from Liverpool in the UK. Initially they were commissioned to do club remixes and made a name for themselves remixing artists such as Oceanic, Heaven 17 and Run DMC.

They have an enviable track record of 30 consecutive club mixes entering the UK club charts with 3 UK club chart number 1's - namely Ashanti, Liberty X and one on their own label Sound Moves Records. This was of course the infamous "All Around The World" featuring Lisa. This quickly brought in a large amount of interest from record companies around the world and the boys started to work in Germany, Italy and France on a regular basis with producers like Rino (Black Box production team) and Gary Jones (Haddaway/Snap production team).

Having signed their publishing to Bucks Music via Red Songs, in a venture with Kim Glover, the legendary svengali manager of such acts as New Kids On The Block, Let Loose, Ant & Dec, and B*Witched, Cliff & Simon embarked on a hectic schedule of writing and production for many artists and major record companies including "Da Dip" by Freak Nasty feat. Tarone (Virgin) which sold 2 million copies in the US, and Major US recording Artist's such as "Aaliyah" - (Blackground/Unique), "Ashanti" -(Def Jam/Unique), "Boys 2 Men", "Sean Paul", "Jimmy Cliff", "Kool & The Gang" and closer to home "Liberty X" and "Sting".
The Boyband "D-Side's" debut Irish Top 5 single Stronger Together, was written by Cliff & Simon and was produced by Grammy Award Winning Producers CutFather & Joe. Red Rhythm also produced the acoustic mix of "D-Side's" debut UK Top 10 hit "Speechless" and also wrote, produced and mixed the b-side "Everyday" which was recorded and mixed at their own studio affectionately known as Red Rhythm Towers.

Not restricted to one genre or style of music the lads have shown their diverse ability by writing and producing thumping club tunes, funky R&B, classic pop songs, and wide-screen rock tracks and have even written and produced some dodgy football songs including the official Leeds United and Manchester City Football Club tracks!
The boys received their Platinum Awards from the British Video Association for their work on "The Hot Pants Workout"? (Universal Pictures) for which they Wrote, Produced and Mixed the entire Sound-Track.
With D-Side hitting Number 1 spot in Japan and looking to break world-wide, Red Rhythm are set to be Red Hot.

The solo songs are very personal and very strong lyrically.
