About Christopher Ames: CHRISTOPHER AMES combines a wholesome vocal with exceled proficiency on the acoustic guitar. He's a simple guy. An earthly guy. A loving husband. A dad. CA has received numerous KCCM Awards (Kansas City Christian Music Award) including Songwriter of the year, Acoustic Rock Artist and Artist of the Year. In 2006 CA released an instrumental CD-TAKE IT IN. It caught the attention of both industry and retail professionals, and for his work he was awarded the 2007 MOMENTUM AWARD for Instrumental Artist of the Year presented in Nashville. Chris's instrumental music has been used as background music on talk radio, commercials and many business websites.In 2008 CA released his 5th album-Everyday With You-focusing on the journey of life and love. There's been great feedback for his song titled PICTURES OF US. He's was recognized as a finalist for LINGER in the Adult Contemporary category by the ISSA Awards and both songs were recognized as honorable mentions for the 2008 Song Door International Songwriting Competition. In 2009-he was nominated for a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music Award) for POP Album of the Year, and also received a 4 star! review in Christianity Music Today.
In 2009, CA releases LEAD US INTO CHRISTMAS DAY. This upbeat, Christmas radio single helps remind us all that with each Holiday season HOPE is just around the corner!
