About RICHARD BARONE: Richard Barone is an acclaimed recording artist, performer, producer, and composer. Since fronting indie-pop legends The Bongos, he has produced countless studio recordings, and collaborates with world-class artists in every musical genre.
As musical and theatrical director, he scores shows and stages all-star concert events at such venues as Carnegie Hall, Hollywood Bowl, and Central Park SummerStage.
Barone's first book, FRONTMAN: Surviving the Rock Star Myth, was published by Backbeat/Hal Leonard Books and performed as a 'musical reading' at Carnegie Hall. He recently completed work on his fifth solo album, Glow, produced by Tony Visconti and others, released in Fall 2010 on Bar/None Records.
Available here for licensing is a collection of new compositions from the Glow collection (these selections must be licensed through Bar/None Records), as well as new demos and songs from previous recordings (licensed via Barone's RBM Special Editions).
