We're looking for artist not associated to any collecting society, or associated to Ascap or Bmi and able to send a notice of direct agreement to the respective colecting society. We need easypop to license to our chain store as background-instore music.
We're seeking for a license agreement with the artist/songwriter/composer where the licensor: own 100% of the copyright both on the master rights to the sound recording and the performance and mechanical rights for the underlying composition of the works grant a direct license to the shops owners and waiver of performing right royalties arising from the publicly performing of the works. French Music Wanted
Do you write songs in French? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We provide instore music to shops, bars, restuarants, cafes etc across Europe. We pay royalties to artists for using their music. These royalties vary depending on how much we use your music.
We are a bit different to a lot of companies and we only work with emerging artists. This is because our clients do not pay license fees to Performing Rights Organisations (PROs) such as PRS, ASCAP, SACEM etc and instead directly license music from us. As a result we are able to pay our artists royalties for where and when we use their music. This does however mean that the artists we work with cannot be members of PROs.
So, firstly are you a member of a PRO?
If not, then would you be interested in working with us? If you are, then we still might be able to work with you, but please let me know who you are registered to and we can work it out. |

I need to find one track for a 1-2-minute video. I am looking for something like Massive Attack's "Teardrop" http://bitly.com/oe1Rdo or Urban Myth Club's "Breathe" http://bitly.com/nRqdI7 or something similar with emotional chords, deep, sexy, groovy, beat-driven but NOT sad or depressing.
The video includes 1-2 minutes of slow moving and sexy architectural shots of a hip hotel property in California. I have two separate licensing scenarios: (A) My own video portfolio use only and (B) My client's commercial use on their website (which may or may not happen, depending on if they love what I've produced).
